Craft distilling is booming in the Philadelphia and surrounding area! Before Prohibition, Pennsylvania had the country’s densest cluster of homespun and commercial whiskey producers. Since the Pennsylvania government passed reforms in 2011 that allowed distillers to offer tours, samples and sales on-site, the number of craft distilleries has increased tremendously.
