Central Park, Kids' Castle
425 Wells Road, Doylestown, PA 18901
A 108 acres family-oriented park providing for a multitude of active and passive recreational opportunities. Amenities of the Park are: 5 Tennis Courts with coin operated lighting, 2 Basketball Courts with coin operated lighting, 1 Volleyball Court, 1 Tot Lot Play area, 3 Soccer Fields, A1 Golf Link (135-150yards), 1 Picnic Pavilion (reservations are made through Doylestown Township Administration), 1 Amphitheater, 1.5 Miles Biking/Hiking/Jogging Trails, Kids' Castle and a 21 station Health Check donated by Doylestown Hospital.

Kids' Castle is an eight story wooden playground structure open to the general public 7 days a week from sunrise to sunset. The Castle is CLOSED upon ground freezing and RE-OPENS in mid-to-late April. Please contact the township to confirm the Castle is open at 215-348-9915. Directions: From 202, exit at Delaware Valley College/State Street. Take 202 South. Turn left at the college onto New Britain Road. At first stop sign, turn right onto Lower State Road. Turn left onto Wells Road. Park entrance is on the left.

Bridge Point Park
30 Edison Road, Doylestown, PA 18901
Bridge Point Park consists of two acres located mainly within the floodplain. Passive recreation opportunities include walks along the stream bed, fishing, picnicking, a recently (1992) renovated 1820’s Wheelwright Shop, and a bit of nostalgia.

Directions: At the traffic light at Edison-Furlong Road and Route 611, make a left onto Edison-Furlong Road (7-11 is on your left). Park is approximately 100 yards in front of you.

Triangle Park
Nestled between the north-bound and south-bound lanes of Easton Road on New Britain Road, this park memorializes those who have given their service to our community. A beautiful spot to stop and reflect. Click here for pictures.

Castle Valley Park
425 Wells Road, Doylestown, PA 18901
This tract is 3.8 acres transformed from a dumping site to a beautiful park. Part of the Neshaminy Creek Watershed Rivers Conservation Project, funded by PA DCNR Keystone Grants, the streambank was cleaned up and approximately 100 tree saplings were planted; minor renovations were made to the parking lot and picnic benches have been placed along the walking trail. A split-rail fence, waterfront steps, nature trail and education kiosks were all constructed with the help of both volunteers and Doylestown Township's Parks Department.

Directions: From Lower State Road towards Doylestown: Cross over Bristol Road and continue on Lower State Road for approximately 1 mile. Park will be on your left just before the Neshaminy Creek Bridge. From Route 611 North-bound: Make a left onto Almshouse Road and follow to stop sign. Make a right onto Almshouse Road (left is Turk Road) and follow windy road to stop sign. Park will be in front of you off to your right.

Sauerman Park
Sauerman Road, Doylestown, PA 18901
Sauerman Park is a 13 acre park of sloping ground which is heavily wooded throughout much of the park. Natural drainage tributaries travel the site creating intersecting terrain when walking the woodland areas. While easily accessible Sauerman Park secludes itself from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. Provides for both active and passive recreation opportunities. Park amenities include: 1 Softball Field, 1 Tot Lot Play Area, 1 Horseshoe Pit, 1 Volleyball Court, 1 Swing Set, 1 Picnic Area, and a Woodland Trail.

Directions: 611 North towards Doylestown, exit at Doylestown (Main Street). Make first right onto Sauerman Road. Go through first stop sign and travel 1/4 mile. Park entrance will be on right.

Chapman Park
This little park includes lighted basketball and volleyball courts, picnic area, walking/fitness trails, youth fishing and tot lots. Open sunrise to sunset. Courts open March 1 - November 30 until 10:30pm.

Directions: From town, take State Street north (towards Buckingham). Park is on right just south of East Street. Map

Burpee Park
This active park includes a pavilion, playground, basketball and volleyball courts, softball field and picnic area.

Directions: From town center, take E. Ashland St., cross Pine Street. Park is on right south of E. State St. Map

Veterans Memorial Park
This is the borough's largest park and includes a playground, tot lot, picnic area, baseball fields and nature trails.

Directions: From town center, take E. Court Street. Cross over Swamp Rd (Rt 313). Follow Chubb Dr. to park. Map

Community Fields Park
Tennis courts, softball field, picnic area.

Directions: From town center, W. State Street south. Turn right on West Street. Park is on left before Doyle Elementary.

Peace Valley Park
Peace Valley Park consists of 1500 acres of public land, including the 365 acre Lake Galena. Miles of hiking trails afford solitude with lakeside and streamside views. Amenities include: Nature Center, Playgrounds, Picnicking, Hiking Boating, Fishing, Ice Skating (designated area only), Nature Areas, Restrooms, Bikeways & Walkways, Boat Rental (in season). Open 8am to sunset.

Directions: From 313 in Doylestown, travel 313 North. Left on Ferry Road. Right on Old Ironhill Road. Left on Creek Road. Entrance on right.

Neamand Park
Neamand Park is a 131.4 passive park nestled between the Neshaminy Creek and Doylestown Crossing Development. Consisting of open spaces, woodlands and paved trail running along the Neshaminy Creek that provides easy access to both Central Park on the Wells Road side and the 202 Parkway Trail. An ideal location place to sit on a bench surrounded by nature to read, reflect, and rest or leisurely walks and bike rides. Neamand Park is a gem for exploration, contemplation and connecting with nature.

Historic Society Park
56 S. Main Street, Doylestown

Turk Park
1260 Almshouse Rd, Warrington, PA 18976
Turk Park off Almshouse Road (57 acres) has two expansive areas, Turk 1 and Turk 2 primarily devoted to sports activities. The open spaces include bleachers for spectators and fields for soccer, baseball, lacrosse, rugby and football. Both areas have a small playground for young children. A walking trail that circles Turk 2 passes by a small gazebo for informal gatherings, rest and shade. Lots of bench seating and tables are scattered throughout the park for tired walkers, and snacking spots. The proposed Neshaminy Greenway trail will intersect Turk 2.

Doylestown Community Bike and Hike System
Doylestown Borough and Doylestown Township are working to create the Doylestown Community Bike and Hike System joining the two communities. With the Intermunicipal "Joint Bike and Hike Committee" acting as impetus, portions of the system have already been completed, including a lengthy stretch on West Street at Doyle Elementary School, with the remainder projected to be constructed in the next 10 to 20 years.
