This is one of the most beautiful locations in Bucks County, only a few miles from Doylestown. Take Mechanicsville Road toward the river; pass the sign for Solebury Orchards farm market (in season, don't pass the sign - turn right and make the well-worth-it side trip for pick-your-own fruit and flowers). Where the road makes a sharp turn to the right, go straight onto the the unpaved road and its small bridge. Follow the Cuttalossa Creek past the "two one-lane bridges" sign and a magnificent sight appears on the right.
In 1907, Pennsylvania Impressionist painter David Garber settled alongside Cuttalossa Creek and began creating his own American version of Monet's famed gardens at Giverny, France. The farm's stone fences, mill pond and waterwheel, immaculate lawns, and graceful stone home are idyllic reminders of Giverny.
Chickens, geese, turkeys, lambs, and sheep greet the visitors (especially those who purchase a handful of feed).

Continue along the road to see the beautiful grounds of the Cuttalossa Inn. Just beyond that, the Delaware River.
