Tour this 1825 Bucks County farmhouse for a firsthand look at the desk and typewriter she used to write The Good Earth. The intact museum collection also boasts artifacts from her travels and her beloved book collection. Stroll through the award-winning gardens and shop in the International Gift Shop in the Welcome Center, just 10 minutes outside Doylestown.

Kaler, the Editor of the Writers Guild, is Professor Emerita of Literature at Gwynedd Mercy University and the East Coast Editor for Olive Branch Publishing, San Francisco.
