Language

Spanish for Children
Tuesday, 4:45pm-5:30pm, Age: Kids (7 - 10)
Teaching kids is fun! The students learn best through vivid experiences and constant motivation. We have students engaged with physical movement, repetition, and drills as much as possible. Our activities are taught through games, songs, rhymes, role plays, and more. Our activities are aimed to the particular age group, and are designed to engage the students in a vivid way. The class themes are of interest for the age group. The vocabulary learned is practical to be translated in real situations. More Information
Spanish Beginners Level
Monday, 6:45pm-8:00pm, Age: Adults
The program will stress reading, writing and conversation through an exploration of Spanish cultures around the globe. Students will learn to use Spanish numbers, greetings, days of the week, months, colors, adjectives and expressions necessary for shopping, as well as most common polite expressions. We will bring the Spanish language to life by developing students' understanding of basic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and general expressions in the present tense. Students will develop an understanding of the nuts and bolts of the language by using regular verbs and the irregular verbs, ser, estar and ir, and by beginning to practice the present progressive tense. Spanish Intermediate I Level
Tuesday, 6:30pm-7:45pm, Age: Adults
Spanish Intermediate Level is designed for students with some knowledge of conjugation in the present tense and who are capable of maintaining at least five minutes of conversation using basic grammar. If you are uncertain that this class would be a good match for you, we offer a free assessment to determine your level of proficiency before you register. Spanish Intermediate Level will emphasize listening comprehension, reading, writing, pronunciation, and cultural enrichment. While we will review all present tense conjugations, the main goal will be to become comfortable talking about events that have happened in the past. More Information
Spanish Intermediate II Level
Wednesday, 1:00pm-2:00pm, Age: Adults
Spanish Intermediate Level II is designed for students with some knowledge of past tense and who are capable of maintaining a conversation switching from the present to the past tense with some ease. They are not yet comfortable with the subjunctive mood. If you are uncertain that this class would be a good match for you, we offer a free assessment to determine your level of proficiency before you register. Students further their ability to communicate in Spanish through continue discussions of current issues and comments about assigned readings. Grammar review prepare the students to express themselves mainly in the past ( indicative and some subjunctive) Students are presented audio materials to improve their understanding. Conversational Spanish - Advanced Level
Wednesday, 1:00pm-2:00pm, Age: Adults
Spanish Advanced Level is designed for students with a solid knowledge of conjugation in the present, past and future tense of the indicative mood, and who are capable of maintaining at least ten minutes of conversation. If you are uncertain that this class would be a good match for you, we offer a free assessment to determine your level of proficiency before you register. Spanish Advance Level will emphasize intensive conversation dealing with aspects of the advanced level of grammar, by participating in a one of a kind program. More Information
