Terms and Conditions
- 2010 Calendar:
- September 10, 2010 Submission Deadline
- September 16, 2010 Judging
- September 18, 2010 Notification sent to artists
- September 24 & 25, 11 - 3 pm Delivery of accepted artwork (no artwork accepted outside this timeframe)
- October 2, 2010 Opening Reception, 11 - 4 pm
- November 5 & 6, 2010 Removal of artwork Noon - 4 pm (artwork must be picked up during this timeframe)
- Entry Fee:
- $30.00 - non refundable entry fee, make checks payable to Bucks County Gallery. We must receive your
entry fee no later than 5 business days after you submit work through this site.

- Eligibility:
- Artists living/working in 150 mile radius of New Hope, Bucks County, PA. Original three-dimensional
artwork in any media. Each piece submitted must have been created within the last three years.
- Entry Format:
- Entries will be juried from jpeg images submitted on this web page only. Do not include your name on the image,
judging is blind. Up to three (3) pieces may be submitted.
- Size:
- Size limit on indoor work is 32" x 32" x 5' high, Outdoor dimensions limit 48” x 48” x 8’ high.
Size must be indicated on submission form.
- Weight:
- Maximum weight for interior sculpture is 120 lbs. Outdoor - no weight limit. Bring all installation equipment
and help necessary to install your outdoor sculpture. BCG does not have an installation crew.
- Jury Process:
- Works will be selected by juror, Lisa Tremper Hanover, director of the Philip and Muriel Berman Museum
of Art at Ursinus College. Entrants will be notified if their work has been accepted by September 18, 2010.
The Juror and Bucks County Gallery reserves the right to final curatorial decision.
- Accepted Work:
- All accepted work must be accompanied by a black pedestal. Artists are responsible for having a
secure display installation. All work submitted must be available if selected. You agree to allow
all rights for us to advertise and promote your bio & images.
- Delivery & Pick-up:
- All artwork must be delivered and picked up on the dates and times specified above. No exceptions
can be made. Please note that artist's packing materials cannot be saved.
- Sales:
- 40% commission on any sales will be paid to the Bucks County Gallery of Fine Art. Prices will be set by the
artist. All work must be for sale. NFS art will not be accepted.
- Liability:
- In order to provide full accessibility to the artwork by the public, the exhibit is set in a public space
and free to view. All reasonable care will be taken.The Bucks County Gallery will not assume responsibility
for lost, damaged or stolen items. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist to and from your studio
and the duration of the show.
- Aesthetic Statement & Resume:
- Artists selected for exhibition will be requested to provide a brief bio 2 paragraph statement.
- Prizes:
- First Prize $ 500
- Second Prize $ 300
- Third Prize $ 100
